Race day registration: Race day registration and packet pickup will be held from 7:45 AM until 9:45 AM in the school cafeteria at York High School, approximately � mile from the race start and finish line. Unclaimed packets will not be mailed.
Fee: Entries postmarked by October 31st, 2011 (pre-registration deadline) are $27.00 (10Mile Run) or $25.00 (5K Run). The registration fees for entries postmarked after October 31st, 2011 and on race day are $30.00.
Directions: From Interstate 64: Take Exit 250-B (Fort Eustis Boulevard/Route 105), eastbound to Yorktown for 3 miles. Take a left on Route 17 North (George Washington Memorial Highway) for 1 mile to York High School on the right. From Route 17 South: Take Route 17 North from Newport News, approximately 10 miles from the Newport News/York County line, to York High School on the right. From Route 17 North: Take Route 17 3 miles past the York River, to York High School on the left. Parking and registration is at York High School on Route 17.p>Course: USATF Certified 10-Mile Course (VA-16039-RT). One of the most beautiful courses in Virginia, the runs are entirely on the Yorktown Battlefield tour roads, with scenic views of woods, meadows, fields and creeks. Starting at the historic Surrender Field, the course is mostly flat with some minor rolling sections. It is an out-and-back to the beautiful �French Loop,� and finishes adjacent to York High School. The course will be closed to all traffic during the race. All miles are marked, with split times given. Water stops provided. Official timing will cease 2 hrs. & 10 minutes after the 10 Mile start.
Awards: 10 Mile Run: To top Master, top three men and women overall, and in age groups 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, for both men and women, 55 & over for women, and 55-59 and 60 & over for men. 5K Run: To top Master winner & runner-up for age groups 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, for both men and women, 55 & over for women, and 55-59 and 60 & over for men.

Entry fee includes the following: U.S. Park Service fee; Certified Race Results by the Peninsula Track Club; Pre-registrants are guaranteed long-sleeve T-shirts, others as available; Spinal Check-up by a York County Chiropractor; Post-race awards as indicated. Fresh fruit and water will be provided for runners.
Note: No PTC race passes will be accepted.
Race proceeds will benefit the charity programs of the York Lions Club, the organizers of the race. Finish line results provided by the Peninsula Track Club.
