This is a program for those that wish to volunteer their time at Circle A: 2017 Colorado Experience. Housing and food will be provided, as well as the opportunity to sit in on the daily seminars. Daily activities will be setting up for camp events and activities. There will also be activities planned for the adult volunteers. Background checks are required for any that wish to participate. Space is currently limited to 20 participants. Nestled within Pike National Forest is the beautiful campus of Quaker Ridge Camp and Conference Center. Looking out at the incredible vistas of Pikes Peak, our campers will enjoy a specialized program of activities like nothing they have experienced before. The Circle A Camp program is filled with all the fun camp activities you’d expect, but our focus is on something more. Through these activities, we teach campers leadership skills, teamwork, positive attitudes and productive communication. In the daily seminars, with speaker Skip Ross, they will learn life skills like handling fear, goal setting, building positive relationships, developing a proper self-image, and finding balance in life. Teams will participate in a rotation of different events each day so there is always something new and fun to do! Some of our activities include: Zip Lines, Horses, Basketball, Drama, Swimming, Volleyball, High Ropes Course, Soccer, Mountain Hikes, Softball/Baseball, Field games, Ultimate Frisbee, Team Building, Archery Range, Ping Pong, Arts and Crafts, Mini Golf and so much more! In Circle A’s positive environment, they will receive encouraging communication from our team, build life long friendships and grow a new outlook on life and their achievements!
