Event schedule and times

Meet at the house at 3 p.m. - June 27. Ride starts at 4:30 p.m.

Friday – June 27 - Easy day. Ride to the Sun Mountain Lodge – 15 miles round trip. (ride starts at 4:30 p.m.). You can extend the ride to around 30 miles, if ride into Twisp and back (or do the Chewuch loop) or do both for about 45.

Saturday – June 28 – Hard day. (Washington and Rainy Passes). We will ride up Scenic Highway 20 through Mazama up to  Washington Pass (elevation 5477 ft) and Rainy Passes (six miles west of Washington, elevation 4855). However, this ride has many options. We can customize according to the weather.  You can also take the van at any point in the ride.

• The easiest option is to ride from Mazama (14 miles west of Winthrop) over Washington Pass and then knock out Rainy Pass (for a total of 44 miles). The climb to Washington Pass is challenging because it is long, but it is very scenic.

Sunday – June 29 - Easy day (30 miles). Ride the Chewuch Loop and then depart for home.
