Fees

$29 till noon Friday 1/11, then $39 day of race. (Online registrations closes at NOON on Friday 1/13). Kids 12 to 15: $15. Kids 11 and under: $10.

Brief Description

Welcome to the 4nd Annual REI Frosty 5k / 15k Freestyle cross country ski race and it's cousin, the SELCRA Kids Race presented by Green Oak Village Place Mall for kids 11 and under. We'll have skate and classic divisions for both the 5K and the 15K race. Choose your technique and distance! Want a challenge? Do the 15K! A little unsure or want a shorter distance? Do the 5K! The Frosty is a FABULOUS beginner's race!

What if there's no snow???

No snow? We have snow making equipment! If that doesn't work, we'll move the race to a new date. Last year, our snow making gun lets hold a race when there was not other snow in the area, so we're feeling pretty confident.We'll go to great lengths to make sure the race is on!

Additional Information

Age awards: Frosty 15k: 18-19, then 20-29 to 80+ in 10 year increments. Frosty 5k: 12-13, 14-15, 16-17, and 18-19, then 20-29 to 70+ in 10 year increments. Frosty kids races: small frys 11 and under get their own race starting at 9:30am. All kids get a custom medal for crossing the finish line.
