What's Included

Clay Critters and Creatures June 27-July 1 Katherine Mahler and Elizabeth Wild Rising 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th In this camp young artists will explore making critters and creatures in clay. We will learn the sculpture techniques of pulling, modeling, adding pieces of clay together, and relief slabs. Artists have to opportunity to explore clay at their own pace and develop ideas based on animals and other creatures. No experience is necessary, everyone is an artist! We will have a show of our work for family and friends at 1:30 on Friday, July 1 in the Lower School Art Studio (North Studio). questions: kmahler@summitmail.org ewild@summitmail.org

Summit Summer 2015

 

Summit Summer offers a wide variety of enriching, challenging and fun day camps for 3 year-olds to 10th graders. This summer the program is running for 7 weeks with over 60 camp options. Families may sign up for just one week or spend the summer at Summit! Early morning and late afternoon care are available.

 

Summit Summer gives students chance to learn and have fun. The teachers are qualified professionals with extensive experience in their subject areas and in child development. The atmosphere is welcoming with a majority of non-Summit students participating. The classes are designed for personal attention with low student-teacher ratios.  Camps include: baseball, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, golf, art, technology, robotics, photography, reading, music, drama, theatre, science, hiking, rafting,  cooking, dance and more!

 

June 22- August 7      

Most camps are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm, $240 including lunch
