A series of 5 off-road races. Do any or all of them! The 5K's are, of course, 5K long.Obstacle course has various crawl, wade, carry challenges. Prepare to get wet and leave your new sneakers at home.Julia's event has both a 5K race and a 1.8 mile walk.Triathlons: Adult distances: Swim 1/4 mi, Ride 5.5 mi, run 2.5 mi. Please register online and avoid the $5 walk-in fee! Online registration is usually available until a day or two before the event.Walk-in registration differs from race to race but for a 9am race registration would be from 7:00 - 8:50 a.m.For the TRIATHLON any participant preregistered by August 31 is guaranteed a Hale Triathlon tee shirt!
For most races we have age groups. We read off and post award winners after the race. We also post them on coolrunning.com and link to that from the Hale race web page. For the triathlon event we have age groups, Relay Teams and Athena/Clydesdales, and we have ribbons and trophies for category winners.
Info about the Series
The series is composed of trail runs, an obstacle course, and one off-road triathlon, all at Hale Reservation. For the triathlons, they are timed so you can do your tri and then watch your kids do theirs.

ABOUT HALE RESERVATIONOver 4,400 children from 70 communities in Greater Boston attend Hale?s camp programs during the summer. Almost 50% of the children receive some sort of financial aid. Proceeds from the Triathlon support Hale Reservation?s financial aid program.
