Event parking is located right at the launch so unloading your gear is convenient. Please be considerate of other racers and river users and move your boat or board out of the parking lot and to the designated staging area quickly. The Head does not have a large parking lot so carpooling with other racers is encouraged and please park as efficiently as possible. Once your gear is unloaded you can park across the river along the road.

8:30 am - 9:30am Registration & Check In 9:45 am Racers Meeting – MANDATORY 10:00 am 7.5 mile Elite Start 10:10am 3 mile Recreational Start 12:15pm Race Course Cleared & Awards 12:30pm – 2pm Fun Races, Boat & Board DemosREGISTRATION & check in begins at 8:30 am. Check In tables will be located @ the registration tent on the beach next to the boat ramp. YOU MUST SIGN A WAIVER IN PERSON even if you registered online. EQUIPMENT Requirements: • Each participant must wear a USCG-approved PFD (life jacket). • Each participant must also carry a signaling devise such as a whistle. POST RACE EVENTS: After the races, there will be fun races, paddleboard demos and kids paddle games available. These are free for racers. All others can try for $5.00 per person or a non perishable food donation. It’s a great way to get your cheering squad on the water and having fun too! All donations benefit the local Westport Food Bank. FUN RACES: Tandem (two people one board), Sprints, Groms, and a SUP obstacle course. The last one is going to be great for the spectators to so stick around!
