About This Activity

Welcome to the fifth Race in the 6-Pack Series. This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you';ve participated in the other 6-Pack events or not.


Location:

Big Dry Creek Trail, Westminster, CO. Start line at Sensory Park. Bib pick up and onsite registration is at the Target Parking Lot 10445 Reed St, Westminster, CO 80020


Distance: 5 Miles OR 5k (out and back course) See website for course map.


Times and Dates: Saturday, October 13, 2012

7:30 - 8:00 AM Onsite registration $30.00 at the Target Parking Lot

8:00 - 8:30 AM Bib pick up for pre-registered racers.

9:00 AM Start at the Big Dry Creek Trail (about a 30 second walk from the Target lot.)

9:40 AM Awards and Drawings at the Finish Line area. Must be present to win - no awards will be mailed.


Entry Fee:

$25.00. Register online until October 11th at 8PM, or register race day morning.

On race day, the fee is $30.00.


Prizes and awards:

+At the END of the race, each participant will receive a PINT GLASS. There is no T-shirt with this race.

+ Awards given in each race distance to top 3 male and female winners as well as top 3 age group winners. (18 and under, 19-29, 30';s, 40';s, 50';s, 60';s, 70';s and up)

+This race supports Growing Home, a Westminster 501(c)3 organization which provides support to local children and families. Bring 5 items to donate on race day and you';ll be entered into a raffle for fun prizes!



Parking:

Use the Target parking lot. We encourage the use of environmentally thoughtful transportation. This area is easily accessible by bicycle and bus. Check out Ridearrangers.org for event specific carpooling, etc.


Course and Water:

This is an out and back course. We will have water coolers at the start/finish area, but NO disposable cups. Please bring your own water bottle for drinking water. There will be an aid station on the course for the 5 Mile runners, but not for the 5k course.

There is a large portion of crushed gravel on this course which is not well suited for strollers. Well-trained, leashed dogs are welcome.
