Dana Hall is one of only a few New England schools to offer a comprehensive riding program and riding has been an option at Dana Hall since the 1930s. Located right on campus, their Riding Center offers complete stable facilities and classes ranging from beginner to advanced with instruction to suit every level of rider. They emphasize confidence, safety and control at every level, building confidence, self-discipline and teamwork through their focus on hunt-seat equitation. The Dana Hall School Riding Center features a large barn area complete with 45 stalls. Construction of the brand new barn was completed in the Fall 2007. The Riding Center boasts two indoor arenas, and a large outdoor ring. The more expansive of the two indoors, the Larson Arena, is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, new jumps, mirrors and dust-free footing. The facility is also includes 11 turnout paddocks, four of which are on grass. During the summer, Dana Hall School Riding Center instructors offer an intensive and fun-filled Horsemanship camp.
