Clinical Dates: December 28, 29, 30; January 2 16 day accelerated program is our most popular class. It meets the 120 hours required by the state of Wisconsin and completes in 16 days. The class hours are 8 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Some days may require the student to arrive early for skill retention tests. The clinical days are held the 12th through 15th day of class at a long-term care facility. Clinical hours are typically 6:15 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This is a rapid paced class and each day will include several skills and chapters. Students will also have homework each night. The most successful student is able to dedicate their free time to this process. We highly encourage students who work to take off or limit their hours during this class time. The benefit of this course is a fast completion that allows the student to find employment quickly. Upon enrollment, every student will have an exam date preset for them. We are a regional testing site. You will only test with the classmates you have grown to know over the course. Unlike other programs, you will practice in the actual lab that you will test in. Our program offers several preparation days for the written and skill portion of the exam. We consistently have an exceptional passing rate for this exam over the years. (Anywhere between 95%-100%). Students must be able to speak, write and read English at a 8th grade level. This class requires mandatory attendance, no exceptions.
