Developed for children 3 -5 years of age, American Red Cross Preschool classes are the first lessons offered without their parent. They should have completed a Parent/Child course and/or be able to listen to an instructor without parent help.
Skills Taught in Class: Enter & exit water safely, breath control& submerging, bubble blowing, bobbing, retrieval of underwater objects, front glide, back float & recovery, changing directions and positions, treading (5 Seconds), arm & leg actions on front and back, finning arm actions on back, self help & water safety skills. Exit Skills Assessment. Pre-Requisites: Ages 4-5 without Parent, Able to demonstrate all Preschool Level 1 Skills.
