Developed for children 3 -5 years of age, American Red Cross Preschool classes are the first lessons offered without their parent. They should have completed a Parent/Child course and/or be able to listen to an instructor without parent help.
Skills Taught in Class: Enter & exit water safely, breath control & submerging, bubble blowing, front glide & recover, back glide & back float & recovery, changing directions, treading water arm & hand action, alternate & simultaneous arm and leg actions on front and back and personal & general water safety skills. Pre-Requisites: Ages 3-4 without Parent, No Previous Skills Needed.
