Brief Description

Coastline Adventures Surfing School and Billabong Camps have created an easy-to-learn and safe surfing system that will have you riding your first wave in no time. We supply all the equipment and instruct on the following: ocean, beach & weather conditions; beach & water training; choosing your equipment; surf etiquette; wave selection & riding skills; local beach wildlife & preservation; surf culture & heritage and more!

Please call the day before your camp to confirm your attendence. We reserve the right to cancel the camp if there is dangerous weather (thunder and lightening) and/or dangerous ocean condtions.

Coastline Adventures Surfing School has been creating the ultimate surfing experience for surfers of all ages and levels since 1995. We believe in educating surfers about the importance of safety and respect for ourselves, fellow surfers, the ocean and the phenomenal art of wave riding!

Our knowledgeable, caring and fun staff has over 30 years of surf instruction experience. We have surfed the East Coast, West Coast, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Fiji and other spots around the world. Both our school and our lead instructors have been evaluated, tested and certified by the National Surf Schools and Instructors Association. All instructors are First Aid and CPR Certified and have a minimum of 10 years of personal surf experience.

Owner, Lance has been teaching surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding for over 17 years and surfing for 40! In 2009 he became the one of the first certified Master Level Surfing Instructors for the NSSIA in New Jersey.

Owner, Jennifer is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Tai Chi instructor and has been working and teaching in the health and fitness field for over 18 years. In 2009 she became one of the first Women's Senior Certified Surfing Instructors in New Jersey for the NSSIA. In 2013 Jennifer passed and and qualified to become a Master Level Surf Instructor. Jennifer has over 22 years of ocean, body boarding and surfing experience.

Stand-Up Paddle Boarding is a sport whose roots run deep in Hawaii’s beach boy history. SUP is part paddling, part balancing and part surfing. The sport is quickly gaining popularity all over the world because of its graceful simplicity and quick learning curve.

This easy-to-learn and non-intimidating activity is perfect for all ages and physical abilities. You will progress quickly and develop the skills necessary to improve your fitness while enjoying the beauty and wildlife of the Jersey Shore. Your lesson will include equipment familiarization; dry land instruction; weather assessment; water safety; proper body position; balance; endurance and paddling techniques.

$75 per person all equipment and bottled water included. Ages 12 and up. Must be able to swim.

Spend your summer enjoying the beautiful Jersey Shore making new friends, improving your balance and fitness and perfecting your paddle boarding skills with our Coastline Adventures SUP’N Club. Learn all the fundamental techniques needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable session PLUS receive ongoing personalized skill building, fitness training and coaching. Sign up for either our 3, 5, or 8 Day SUP Lesson Package for a summer full of fun! Choose from any of the available dates between May 5 and October 27, 2013. No refunds or transfers. Must be used during the 2013 season.

3 SUP Lessons for $210, 5 SUP Lessons for $325, 8 SUP Lessons for $480

Due to popular demand, we designed an introductory 2 HOUR group lesson. You will receive a BASIC OVERVIEW of ocean safety; board handling; white water riding; etiquette and what to do when you wipe out. Our group lesson offers a taste of surfing to see if it's for you. This is the perfect first step towards participating in this amazing sport. If you fall in love with surfing, we recommend you join one of our camps or take a private lesson to learn more comprehensive skills and techniques to ensure your safety and fun factor in the surf. All equipment included.

Open to ages 9 years and older.

$59 per. Available most weekends. Your choice of 9:30 am or 3:30 pm (times may vary due to tides and conditions). Call to reserve your spot. NO ONLINE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE.

This 4 HOUR camp is the perfect introduction to real surfing. Our comprehensive curriculum guarantees your safety, success and enjoyment in a cooperative and supportive group environment! Through discussions, demonstrations, beach and water training, drills, games, coaching and personal attention, you will learn the art and science of surfing! Equipment and a Billabong Gift Bag included.

Open to ages 9 years and older.

$99 per. Available Monday - Friday.

Experience the magic of riding waves while you spend your time with us immersed in the surfing lifestyle. Billabong and Coastline Adventures have teamed up to offer you an amazing daily 4 HOUR surf camps with quality, safety-minded instruction, the best surfing equipment, water and beach activities. Beach Party, Certificate of Accomplishment and a Billabong Gift Bag are included!

3 Day Camp: Mon - Wed OR Wed - Fri for $225 per surfer

5 Day Camp: Mon - Fri for $375 per surfer

Come have fun and learn the basics of surfing in our 3.5 HOUR adult co-ed surf camp. This camp is the perfect introduction to this amazing sport. Our comprehensive curriculum guarantees your safety, success and enjoyment in a cooperative and supportive group environment! Through discussions, demonstrations, beach and water training, drills, games, coaching and personal attention, you will learn all the fundamentals needed to catch some waves! Equipment and a Billabong Gift Bag included.

Open to men and women 18 and older from 8:30 am - 12 pm.

$99 per surfer. Available on selected weekends and holidays.

Amazing things happen when you combine the beauty and power of the ocean, the challenge and exhilaration of surfing and the supportive environment of women coming together to learn something new. Be a part of this exceptional experience! Start your surf retreat with a meet and greet during a light breakfast and warm up with customized yoga and tai chi exercises. Through discussions; demonstrations; beach and water training; drills; games; coaching and personal attention, you will learn the art and science of surfing! After surfing celebrate your day with a light lunch and learn about healthy approaches to a more joyful and balanced life. Equipment and a Billabong Gift Bag included.

Open to women 18 and up from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm

$110 per surfer for Saturday only

WOMEN'S WAVE DANCER CLUB
Spend your summer learning to surf; making new friends; building confidence and strengthening your body and soul with our new Wave Dancer Club. Sign up for either a package of 5 or 8 women's surf retreats and choose from and of our availbale women's dates between Sunday, Jun 30 and Saturday, Sep 29, 2013. Enjoy all the benefits of the standard women's 1 day surf retreat PLUS you will receive ongoing personalized skill building; fitness training; coaching and ride a variety of boards and wave conditions. Stand Up Paddle Boarding may be added or substituted depending on your needs and ocean conditions. No refunds or transfers. Packages must be used during the 2013 season.

Learn to surf girl style! Come have fun and learn the basics of surfing in our girl powered surf camp. Open to girls 10 - 17 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm

$75 per surfer.
