About This Activity

(Adults)
Do you play an instrument, sing, or write songs?  Take your playing to the next level with this 8-week rock 'n roll experience.  Designed for all levels of musicians who enjoy rock, blues, jazz, and pop, you'll be matched with other like-minded musicians in a relaxed group coaching session. Topics covered include ensemble skills, song selection, chart reading, improvisation, songwriting, and performance skills.  Each band will typically consist of guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, and vocals, although other instruments are also welcome.  Each session will meet for 7 weeks, culminating in a recorded performance on the 8th week. Amplifiers are provided.

Prerequisites: Students should have at least one year's experience on their instrument.   Students should bring instruments, cords, staff paper/pencils, and a willingness to explore new music.  For more information, please contact Gary Prince at gprince@levineschool.org.
