PLEASE NOTE - this class repeats Robotics Engineering 101B from Winter 2014. This class is open only for students who completed Robotics Engineering 101A. This is an 8 week class and the last 2 classes will run for 90 minutes. Due to a scheduling problem the second class will be held on Friday May 2nd and there will be no class on Thursday May 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Students will begin by dissecting a robot to identify critical parts and move into hands-on examples of understanding the pieces that go into robot’s circuits, what you can put on a robot to make it intelligent and be shown short cuts and insider secrets to programming your robot. The class will culminate with the famous Robot Jeopardy competition, a group game that challenges the child’s mind to call on their memory and imagination to win. Due to scheduling and enrollment issues, the Robotics 201 class will not be available this session as originally planned. We hope to be able to run this class in the Fall.
