Brief Description

A FUN-FILLED EVENT TO BENEFIT INFANTS, CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES.

The STAR Walk, Roll & Stroll will provide a fun opportunity for walkers and families to connect and socialize; raise public awareness of STAR and the services we provide; and raise financial resources necessary for us to continue to deliver vital services to the community.

Additional Information

The STAR Walk, Roll & Stroll will offer 2 options, 5 K (3.1 miles) or 1.6 K (1 mile). Walk, roll (wheelchairs) or stroll (children in strollers). No roller-blades, skateboards or bicycles. At 12 PM, we will have family activities including games, arts and crafts, a visit from Storm of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and face painting. DAY OF THE WALK (Rain or Shine) 10:15-11:15 a.m. Walker Check-in Registration Turn in cash donations 11:15-11:30 a.m. Opening Ceremonies 11:30 a.m. STAR Walk, Roll & Stroll 5 K (3.1 miles) 1.6 K (1 mile) 12:00 p.m. Family activities and games Those who donate $100 or more will automatically have their registration fee waived and receive a t-shirt and walk hat.
