The PURPLE DAY-Walk For Epilepsy is held at Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, FL. and Lake Seminole Park in Seminole, FL. The PURPLE DAY-Walk For Epilepsy is a global event to increase awareness for persons affected by epilepsy. 7 years ago, Cassidy Megan began this event in Nova Scotia. Today it is world-wide. The PURPLE DAY-Walk for Epilepsy benefits the Epilepsy Services Foundation and its support programs: Education and Awareness, H.O.P.E. Mentoring Program, Graces' Hope Hospital Visitation Program and its camp, college and medical scholarship programs.
