A little about the PCOS Foundation: It is based in Houston, Texas and was founded in July 2010 by Lisa Benjamin-Allon. She created the foundation to help women by providing education, awareness, and outreach. About 7 million women are affected by PCOS and many go undiagnosed or do not know how to make changes for their health. The Mini PCOS Awareness Walks were designed to bring women with PCOS Together to spread awareness and find support from family, friends and each other. We currently have over 14 active walks, and hope to grow support groups and larger walks from these walks.
