This is the event where they collect new or very gently used teddy bears for donation to the Washington County Sheriff's Office Buddy Bear Program. These teddy bears are carried by the patrol officers and given to children who are in need of a hug due to circumstances beyond their control: accidents, fires, parents in legal trouble, etc. The goal this year is to collect at least 350 teddy bears.
