What's Included

Fossil evidence suggests that about 350 million years ago greater Binghamton and most of North America were near the equator of the Earth and life there existed in a warm salty sea. Students will explore that fossil evidence as they crack open rocks, taking a trip back in time to an age when giant bugs called Trilobites swam in the waters covering the earth. They will use modeling clay to make a mold, and create their own fossils from plaster.
