Following in the footsteps of many famous “mud” events, the Madison Mud Run is a challenging 4.6 mile run with hills, water crossings, tire obstacles, 5 foot wall climbs, tunnel crawls, inflatable obstacles and the famous “mud pit”. “Madison’s Dirtiest Race” is the most fun you can have running almost 5 miles. How “tough” is it? It is as tough as you want it to be. The course is designed for everyone from the recreational runner to the elite. This event has something for all to enjoy.
Start & Finish:The start/finish will be at the main pavilion in Festival Park. Festival Park is located off Lincoln Ave and Verona Rd in Verona. Just behind the Eagle's Nest. Please plan to carpool and park in the lots near the Eagle's Nest. Course: Using the grass and dirt trails found in Festival Park and Badger Prairie Park, the course will be hilly and full of obstacles including: water crossings, tire runs, 5’ tall walls, tunnel crawls, inflatable obstacles, and the famous mud pit. It will be impossible to stay clean. The course will be challenging enough for the elite but still manageable for beginners. Please Note: There is a 2 hour 30 minute time limit to complete the course.
