YOU MUST LABEL YOUR BAG! Your bag will be watched, but we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. All items dropped on the 10 mile course will be picked up by our sweep vehicle. PLEASE NOTE that the sweep vehicle will be behind the LAST runner. So you may wait for that favorite jacket you dropped...
No headphones, please.
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. Running headphone-free allows opportunities to develop camaraderie with your fellow runners. Plus, volunteers will be on course cheering you on and providing directions to help get you to the finish line. Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
Water Station Awards
NEW for 2014! Runners of the 10 mile course will vote for their favorite water station. The school team, community club or nonprofit organization that cheers the loudest will receive $250 from the Women Running Wild Running Club. Costumes, decorations, and cheering/singing/making noise will be strongly encouraged. Want to sponsor a water station? Email Sue at firstname.lastname@example.org.
