Plenty of parking is available on-site; however, vehicular traffic outbound from the Festival Grounds (Shark's Tooth 10K site) will be suspended once the race begins and will remain closed until the last runner crosses the finish line. We anticipate outbound traffic will resume by 9:15 a.m. If you wish to leave prior to 9:15 a.m., please utilize off-site parking at Grace United Methodist Church at the corner of Field Avenue and Avenida del Circo less than 1 mile from the start.

Walker Category is for participants who will COMPETE as a Walker. If you will mostly walk but intend to run or jog some, please register in the open field, not as a Walker. Walker participants will be issued a distinct race bib & start 5 minutes after the open field. Although not a judged racewalk competition, one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times & there will be monitors on the course. Running or jogging will be basis for disqualification. Runners, joggers and walkers are welcome. You must be able to complete the 6.2 course maintaining just under 17 minutes per mile. The finish line will close at 9:05 a.m.
Please NO PETS. Pets are not permitted on the festival grounds.

For the safety of all participants, volunteers and spectators, please refrain from using any in-ear music players. Police and volunteers monitor the roads and intersections for your safety but roads are not closed to vehicular traffic.
The course is predominantly on prepared surfaces, asphalt and concrete. A small portion to and from the festival grounds and in Caspersen Beach Park is on grated, crushed shell drives and packed trails. Please be aware and considerate of other runners and walkers if chosing to use a stroller or jogger for the safety of other participants, you and your children.Expecting almost 1,000 runners this year, the Shark's Tooth 10K has grown to be a premier running event of the Suncoast.
