About This Activity

Our 16 week training program for beginners will cover all the basics of triathlon, including what to wear, how to set up your transition area, and coaching on developing good swim, bike and run skills and endurance.  The program is suitable for all levels, so if you're a first timer, don't be shy! Come on out and train with Flower Power Sports.

The 12 week group training program run under a 'start where you are' philosophy similar to the beginner program, but we skip the very basic 'how to' logistic information for those who have already done a race or two.  All levels of fitness are encouraged to all of our programs, so don't let the term 'experienced' intimidate you.  We'll work with you where you are and do our best to get you ready to complete your event by the end of the program.

16 Week Beginner Program: Sat 2/15 thru 6/8/2014

12 Week Experienced Program: (Sessions 1 and 2)

  • Session 1 -  Sat 2/8 thru 5/3/2014
  • Session 2 -  Sunday 3/16  thru 6/8/2014

Weekly schedule for both programs is the following;

Marin Morning Group: Tues/Thurs 9:00 - 10:30am, Sun 11am - noon

Marin Evening Group: Tues 6:30 - 7:30pm, Sat 8:30 - 10:30am, Sun 11am - noon

San Francisco Evening Group: Wed. 6:30 - 7:30pm, Sat 8:30 - 10:30am, Sun 11am - noon
