Mondays, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 and ONE Wednesday on 11/4 In this class, the student will be introduced to the craniosacral system of the human body, comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The emphasis in Craniosacral Therapy is to help resolve the trapped forces that underlie and govern patterns of disease in both body and mind. This involves the practitioner "listening through the hands" to the body's subtle craniosacral rhythms to detect patterns of inertia or congestion. With this light touch modality – generally using only 5 – 6 grams of pressure – the practitioner can evaluate and treat restrictions in the craniosacral system offering relief to the client who suffers from migraines, autism, central nervous system disorders, chronic neck and back pain, stress, fibromyalgia and so much more. The deadline for registering is Friday October 2, at 5:00 p.m. CST. Cancellations made after this date/time will not receive a refund. Please also note the $4.95 fee and credit card fees up to 4% will not be refunded if registration is cancelled.
