Additional Information
ALL participants, regardless of miles logged, will receive a performance t-shirt at the awards celebration in February (date/time/place TBD). During the party we will announce our winners in each division. The overall winners in each category will be determined by the total number of completed long distance triathlons. You do not need to be present to win.
The 5 Winners (Individual Male / Individual Female / Relay Team / Partner Team and Spirit Team) will receive a monetary donation to their favorite charity. 30% of each registration fee will be set aside for this purpose. The amount of each donation will depend on the number of overall registrants for the Censored Distance Challenge. Examples of charities include any that fall under the Combined Federal Campaign Program. Other charities must have nonprofit status and be approved by the TriGals member board.
Individual: The overall winners will be determined by the total number of completed Long Course Triathlons.
Relay Team: Teams may consist of up to 3 individuals and each team member is responsible for one discipline in the triathlon (Swim; Bike; Run). No one discipline can be shared amongst the relay team.
Partner Team: This category is limited to two people. Team members may log as many miles as they choose in any category.
Spirit Team: As a reminder - TEAMS ARE LIMITED TO 25 PEOPLE. Team members may log as many miles as they choose in any category.
WRAP UP PARTY -- all Participants are invited to attend the IDC wrap up party hosted by the Tampa Bay TriGals. This year, in addition to a Dri-Fit T-shirt and a great goodie bag provided by our various sponsors, we will have numerous prizes to raffle off from our sponsors — including Bike Helmets; Gift Cards, shirts, magnets and other fun gifts. The proceeds from the raffle will be will assist Tampa Bay TriGals yearly operating expenses and our chosen charity for 2012. Those participating outside the Tampa St. Petersburg greater area will have their shirts mailed.
