Welcome to the fourth annual Shenandoah Valley Sprint Tri for the Y. Over the past three years this event has created a professional, competitive and community-oriented triathlon, all while raising money for the Waynesboro YMCA. Proceeds for this event will go directly to the Waynesboro Family YMCA as they continue to work tirelessly to build strong kids, strong families and a strong community.
The YMCA, the City of Waynesboro, and the local community are thrilled to continue to support this event for another year. The race will showcase the beauty of the picturesque Ridgeview Park, the surrounding green rolling hills, and the South River in the heart of Waynesboro. This sprint triathlon allows athletes the chance to compete, soak in the surroundings and be a part of the community. It is designed for both serious triathletes who are looking to participate in an event dedicated to a worthy cause, as well as those individuals who are looking to take their first big step onto the triathlon scene.
We pride ourselves in providing all participants with the best volunteers, support services, and access to invested local businesses.
