Event Description

Celebrate the spirit of the Lavaman Triathlon! The 14th annual Waikoloa Lavaman Triathlon will be held Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Waikoloa Beach Resort on the beautiful Kohala Coast of the Island of Hawaii.

Check our website for the details on one of the offered Triathlon Training Camps or Programs before or after the Lavaman Triathlon. Find one that suits you and possibly raise money for a great cause. Distances & Race Description

Olympic Distance (1.5K Swim, 40K Bike and 10K Run) Swim at Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The Bike ride is out and back on the Queen Kaahumanu Hwy. (Ironman Bike Course) then back into the resort. T1 & T2 are in the same location. The run is through the Waikoloa Beach Resort & the grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Village and has varied terrain consisting of lava, sand, coral trail, road, lawn, & flagstone path with a beach finish. Trail shoes are recommended over racing flats.

Relay Teams

EACH MEMBER OF THE RELAY TEAM MUST REGISTER SEPARATELY ON ACTIVE.COM. Relays may be two or three member teams (see fees above). You may put together your own teams or if you need help we will assist in finding team members for you. Contact us at info@lavamantriathlon.com.

Refund Policy

Prior to January 1, 2011 - 75% Refund or credit minus Active fees. January 1, 2011 to February 28 2011 - 50% Refund or credit minus Active fees. NO REFUNDS AFTER MARCH 1, 2011.
