Start your year off right at the Falcon Groundspeed Triathlon! Our 2nd annual Spring race will be held on the beautiful campus of the US Air Force Academy 1 May 2010. The FGS Triathlon will be hosted entirely by cadets attending the United States Air Force Academy. Our mission to provide a world class professional triathlon to all of our racers.

If you raced our Lindsay Brown Triathlon in the Fall or last year's Spring FGS Triathlon, get ready for another outstanding race. 750m swim(pool, individual lane), a 15 mi bike and 5km run through the entire grounds of the United States Air Force Academy. Run and bike through the campus of the beautiful US Air Force Academy. Hills are plentiful so be prepared! The scenery is worth the effort. Falcon Groundspeed is an official tax-exempt nonprofit organization (501c3) founded by the Alumni of the USAFA Triathlon Team whose primary mission is to support the current USAFA Triathlon Team. -Affordable Race Registration -$10 refund at Packet Pickup for military, former racers (Lindsay Brown Triathlon 2008 and 2009, or Falcon Groundspeed Triathlon 2009), or college students. Must show proof of former race registration or proper ID. Limit one $10 rebate per person. Offer not valid for Cadets. -Relays (three person teams) Welcome!

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
