Brief Description

•This is going to be a great event for kids ages 6-17 benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The epic sport of triathlon consists of 3 portions - a swim, a bike, and a run. The venue consists of a pool swim, bike ride in a local community, and a closed run course.

Additional Information

•This particular triathlon will contain 2 distances for the multiple age groups. •Ages 6-9 will complete a 100 yd(four short laps) swim, a 3.1 mile bike, and a 0.6 mile run. •Age groups 10-13 & 14-17 will complete a 200 yd(eight short laps) swim, a 6.2 mile bike, and a 1.2 mile run.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
