The Y Tri Series has 10 races scheduled for 2012. There will be a long course and short course Tri and Duathlon in this event. Short course tri consists of a 500 m swim, a 15 miles bike and a 5k run. Long course tri consists of a 1500 m swim, a 24 miles bike and a 10k run. Short course duathlon consists of a 1 mile run, a 15 miles bike and a 5k run. Long course duathlon consists of a 1 mile run, a 24 miles bike and a 10k run. Entry fees for short course tri/du are $55 in advance and $65 for late registration for individual, and $95 per team in advance and $105 per team for late registration for relay. Entry fees for long course tri/du are $65 in advance and $75 for late registration for individual, and $95 per team in advance and $105 per team for late registration for relay. Late pricing begins 2 weeks prior to event. Awards will be given to overall male/female, top 3 in each age group, Clydesdales males – 200 Lbs + and Athenas females – 150 Lbs +. Separate awards will be given for triathlon, duathlon, short course and long course.
