Registration Policy

NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS Entries can be deferred for 1 year only through March 28, 2010 with prior written approval from the race director. A $75 deferral fee applies. Entries may only be deferred to 2011, not beyond. Race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. Race management also reserves the right to accept or reject all entry forms.

Elite Amateur Competition

This division is for Amateur athletes anticipating a top 10 finish overall amongst amateurs. Qualification standards must be met in order to race in this division. Please visit www.satriathlon.com for more details under the Elite Amateur Division Tab.

Dual Entry

Registration only available November 27 - 30, 2009 beginning at 9am EST on 11/27. This will serve as registration for both St. Anthony's Triathon and the Morton Plant Mease Triathlon (June 27, 2010 Clearwater Beach, FL) Available slots are limited.

General Charity Entry ($250)

General charity entries help to support our non-profit organizations that assist by volunteering their time event week. This entry is not tax-deductible and is considered a general individual entry (does not enter you into the Charity division or charity swim wave).

Charity Wave ($500) Registration Code Required

This entry must be arranged through Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), Sports Grants, or the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) and requires a fundraising minimum of $500 in addition to the entry fee of $155. See official charities page at www.satriathlon.com

ST. ANTHONY’S TRIATHLON. S-1.5K, B-40K, R-10K Info: 727-825-1271; triathlon@baycare.org; http://satriathlon.com. St. Anthony’s Triathlon, as the first major race on the U.S. calendar, has kicked off the triathlon season in North America for the past 26 years. Race against the world’s top professional triathletes as they compete for a $65,000 prize purse. Over the years, St.Anthony’s Triathlon has been an Ironman Triathlon World Championship qualifier, named “Race of the Year” by USA Triathlon, and will again serve as a USAT Regional Championship Event. Athletes from 48 states and 18 countries participated in the 2009 event. There will be a huge two-day sports and fitness expo and festive waterfront awards party. No race-day registration or packet pick up. Entry is limited to 4,000 individuals and 125 relay teams.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
