Brief Description

The Peninsula Metric Century (PMC) is a challenging bike ride through the scenic Kitsap Peninsula. Enjoy panoramic waterfronts views, rural countryside, and lots of rolling hills. Choose from routes of 29, 44, 62, or 100 miles at two convenient start locations. Riders will enjoy a well-marked course with cue sheet and map, support vehicles, fully stocked rest stops, and dessert at the finish line.

On-Site Registration

If you miss the online registration deadline, you may register in person on the day of the event from 7:00am - 11:00 am at either start location.

On-Site Registration Fees

  • Adult (age 18 and up): $20.00
  • Youth (age 7-17): $10.00
  • Child (age 0-6): $0.00
  • Family: $45.00

Family Category

For registration purposes, a family is defined as 1 or 2 adults and their children aged 17 or under all residing at the same address. If you do not meet this definition, please register each person in your party individually.

Routes

  • 29 miles (from Southworth only) along Puget Sound on rural roads in South Kitsap. Rolling terrain and some hills after Port Orchard.
  • 44 miles (from Gig Harbor only) winds through the scenic Crescent Valley. Rolling terrain and some hills.
  • 62 miles through South Kitsap and Gig Harbor Peninsula on rural roads with hills. Great trainer for RAPsody!
  • 100 miles with over 7500 feet of elevation gain on the Key Peninsula. Great training for RAMROD.

Rider Safety

Please come prepared to ride. We recommend you inspect your bike the night before. Along with your bike, bring an approved helmet, ID, water, first aid kit, tire repair equipment, other essentials, and a friendly attitude. All riders are expected to ride safely and obey the rules of the road. Have fun and ride safely!

Ride Support

Sag wagons will be driving the route for mechanically stranded riders. Course closes at 5pm. Final sweep of sag wagons begins at 4pm.

Local Courtesy

Remember, we are guests in the communities along the routes. Please park your vehicle in approved locations, and obey all traffic laws while driving. We encourage you to take in the surroundings and patronize local area businesses.

Event Proceeds

Rider registration fees for TWBC events help to support the Bicycle Alliance of Washington, bicycling safety and education programs, and local bicycle improvements. Surplus food is donated to a local food bank.
