The Socorro Chile Harvest Triathlon is a sprint-distance triathlon in Socorro, NM, celebrating the start of the chile harvest season in the area.


Seeded, Time-Trial-Style Swim Start

This race starts with a pool swim. Each racer must provide the time that they expect to take to finish a 400-meter swim. The start order will be assigned according to the seed times, with the fastest seed going first. Race numbers will be issued in start order. Swimmers will be started approximately every ten seconds, or at the discretion of the Head Timer.
