Brief Description

Spectacular views, a challenging 2 mile swim and the satisfaction of knowing you accomplished something few others have. Forget swimming from Alcatraz and do something truly remarkable, swim under the Golden Gate Bridge! This 2 mile swim is one of the more challenging and beautiful open water swims in the SF Bay. Swim starts off South Tower, then swim under the GGB span passing closely to the historic Lime Rock Lighthouse, you will complete the swim at Cavallo Cove Landing.

$3000 IN CASH AND PRIZES TO TOP FINISHERS

Bob Roper will award $1000 each to the top Male and Female Skin entry! $500 will be awarded to the top Male and Female Suit entry. Must have paid the full $200 entry fee to be eligible

Race Day Timeline: Registration opens at 9am Registration closes at 10am Board boat at 10am Swimmer’s Boat departs at 10:30am Swim Start Jump off that boat at 11:15am Award Ceremony and Post-swim Brunch at Sports – Basement Presidio - 610 Old Mason Street starting at 1:15pm Awards for first place in each category and age group Swim price includes: All Boat Transportation Swim Commemorative T-shirt Commemorative towel Brunch after the swim Make sure while under the bridge swim the backstroke and enjoy this international icon from a vantage point few others will ever experience.
