Description

In April the 2013 Omegawave World Triathlon San Diego event will feature age-group races consisting of more than 3,000 amateurs competing in the same venue as the world's best pro triathletes. The Olympic-Distance Race, Olympic-Distance Relay and Sprint Race will take place for age-group athletes on Saturday, April 20. All events will start and end in Mission Beach. An expo and festival also will be held there from April 18-20 as part of race weekend. Admission for spectators is free and open to the public all week including at the pro races. Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
