Description

Event History

The Sacramento International Triathlon was first held last year in 2011 at Rancho Seco Park in June. This year the event is being moved to its new location: Discovery Park in Sacramento, the site of our Golden State Triathlon.


2012 Race Features

The Sacramento International Triathlon will be USAT Sanctioned and feature an Olympic-distance course with a 1.5K swim in the American River, a 40K bike course on roads closed to traffic, and a 10K run on the American River Bike Trail. Included for each athlete is a Sac Intt Triathlon tech-tee race shirt, an XTERRA swim cap, athlete goody bag, hot post race meal and free athlete massage. Awards are for 1st through 5th place in each age group/category for Sacramento International Triathlon.

Relay Teams

Relay Teams consist of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner. Entry fee includes three race shirts, goody bags and post race meals. Awards will be first overall in Male, Female and Coed divisions for Sacramento International Triathlon.


Packet Pick Up Information

Athlete packets may be picked up on Saturday, July 21st at Fleet Feet Sports at 2311 J Street in Sacramento from 10 am to 6:00 pm. Race packets will also be available race morning from 6:30 am to 9 am at the race site.


Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.


Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing Bill Driskill at bill@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.


Triathlon Training Class

TBF Training offers the Tri-for-Fun Spring Class beginning on April 16, 2012 for $199. This 6-week class includes entry into the TRI for FUN Triathlon on June 2, 2012 and will help athletes of all levels reach their fitness and performance goals. Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
