Brief Description

500 yd Swim, 14.3 mi bike, 3.1 mi run. This is the 5th Annual Cy-Man Triathlon and our 1st year at Big Creek State Park. Each registrant will receive a vintage track jacket and other goodies (to be announced). Proceeds will go to the Iowa State University Triathlon Club and a charity to be named.

The race with YOU in mind!

Although this is a fund raiser the event organizers are committed to hosting a great event with the participants in mind. Having raced in many events and organized several other races they aim to bring fresh excitement to Cy-Man and the energy of a Cyclone. This will be an event people will talk about, DON'T MISS IT!!

Hooded Swearshirts!

Each registrant will receive a custom embroidered hooded sweatshirt commemorating the Cy-Man 2008, our 5th year! All athletes will be able to take their hooded sweatshirt home from packet pick up. Athletes will have the choice of four colors (green, red, navy, and graphite).

Registration

You may register online for as long as there are spots available or until September 5th at 11:59 PM Central Time. Registration will be available at packet pick-up on Saturday, September 6th. Offline/Paper registration forms will be available soon at locations throughout Ames, Ankeny and Des Moines as well as on our website!

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
