OYM Triathlon Series Registration

Purpose

To further the sport of triathlon. This is a short distance triathlon open to all levels of ability. All are welcome to participate. Excellent for novices, great competition for the seasoned triathlete.

Day of Schedule

5:30 a.m. - Check-in & Race Day Registration Opens
6:45 a.m. - 1st Timers Talk - presented by Coach Patricia LaSalle
7:00 a.m. - Event Start

Distance

700 yard swim / 19 mile bike / 4 mile run

1st Time Triathlete

If this is your 1st triathlon and you have questions, please attend the 1st timers talk presented by Coach Patricia LaSalle at 6:45 a.m. She will give last minute coaching tips on what to expect on the swim, bike and run, taking away your pre-race jitters. By the end of the talk you breathe a little easier knowing you are not alone, almost everyone else at the start line is feeling the same. Awards

Trophies to overall male/female and masters (45+). Medals three deep in 5 year age groups, 1-13, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Entry Fee Includes

T-shirt, refreshments, award ceremony and raffle (must be present to win).

Additional Information

Course is similar to Tri For Funs, only longer distances.
This is a competitive event with timing and awards.
ID's are required to check-in.
You must use a bike helmet (CPSC approved) and swim cap! Caps are available for purchase at event site.
Pleasanton location will impose a $6 parking fee. Please be prepared. Car pooling is recommended.
Transition areas are fenced and guarded - only entrants are allowed in.
