Brief Description

Join us for the 2012 Playa Del Rey Triathlon. Set along the beautiful bluffs of Dockweiler State Beach in Playa Del Rey, competitors can select between a sprint-distance (600 meter swim, 20K bike, and 5K run) or International-distance (1200m swim, 40K bike, and 10K run) event. The PDR Tri is a fundraiser for collegiate triathlon and a portion of the proceeds are donated to the UCLA & USC Triathlon Teams.

Late Fees

Registration fees increase on July 16, August 13, September 17, October 8, and at packet pickup. Register early to ensure the best price! No race-day registration.

19&U, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, Relay, Pro, Clydesdale, Athena

Refund Policy

Sorry, but all registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. The only exception is if you are injured and submit a primary physician's letter at least 1 month before the event, a registration transfer will be considered on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be granted for any reason within 1 month of the event.

Age Limit

Competitors must be 14 years or older on race day. The race director will make exceptions on a case-by-case basis after parents submit previous race experience.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
