Brief Description

Big Rock Olympic distance Tri (road tri) is a 2 loop swim (1.5 k) 2 loop bike (40 k) with gradual up and down hill sections and 2 short steep climbs then an out and back 10k out n back run

Big Rock Sprint distance Tri (road tri) is a 1 loop swim (800 yds) 1 loop bike (12 mi) with 1 short steep climb then an out n back 3 mi run with some small rolling hills

The Off-Road tri is the same swim and run as the sprint with a fun 14 mile off-road mountain bike course

Additional Information

The Big Rock Olympic distance Tri and The Big Rock Sprint distance Tri and the IN THE DIRT off road tri will be held on the same day on the same course (except off-road mountain bike course for In The Dirt). The Big Rock Olympic and Sprint Triathlons are road bike triathlons on paved roads the IN THE DIRT TRI is an off-road triathlon on mountain bike trails

The Big Rock will have 2 loops on the swim in a calm lake and 2 loops on the bike with some flat, up, and downhill sections with 2 short steep climbs, an out and back 10 k run with mostly flat with some small rolling hills.

The Big Rock Sprint will have 1 loop on the swim and 1 loop on the bike with an out and back 3 mi run.

The IN THE DIRT off-road Tri will have a 1/2 mile swim, a 14 mile off road mtb bike with some single track, fire road and some steep climbing

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SIGN UP FOR THE DISTANCE YOU WANT TO RACE!

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SIGN UP FOR THE RIGHT RACE DISTANCE! PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE!
