Brief Description

The Cerritos College iTrI will take place on the beautiful Cerritos College campus at 7 am; starting with a 2-mile run, transitioning to a 7-mile bike ride, and finishing with a 400-meter swim. The course is somewhat technical, yet welcoming to first-timers. The proceeds will be donated to the Cerritos College Triathlon Club and the Challenged Atheletes Foundation (www.challengedathletes.org). Shower facilities will be available to all participants and volunteers.

Packet pick-up and Course Review

Packet pick-up and on-site registration will be on 6/4 from 4-7 pm in the HPEDA Building at Cerritos College. The course review will take place at 6 pm. http://cms.cerritos.edu/Campus-Guide/Directions-to-Campus Parking will be in C-1 for packet pick-up and race day.

Additional Information

Registration after 12 pm and on race day will be available at check-in. Due to the much needed upgrades to the campus, the iTrI course will be finalized June 1, 2010.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
