Description
The New Hampton Parks & Recreation is excited to make this Kid's Race an annual event! The race takes place after our Triathlon, is a great way to get your kids involved in a non-competative, fun event! Each participant will recieve a T-shirt and a goodie bag! The race takes place in our park, the run is around our approximate 1 mile gravel trail, and the swim is in our public swimming pool and will be two lengths of the pool. Parents are encouraged to gather around the running track to cheer on his or her child, but will only be allowed in a certain area of the pool. The swim will take place in our 4 ft. area and there will be many lifeguards in and around the swim area! We had a lot of great compliments about this race last year, and hope to make it even better this year!
Event schedule and times
You will recieve a race packet with detailed information regaurding location, times, etc. by July 5th, 2013 via e-mail. Below are tentative times for our events.
6:00 AM - Check in/registration open to all 5K/Triathlon/Kids Race participants
7:00 AM - Shot gun start for the 5K run/walk
8:30 AM - Shot gun start for the Triathlon
10:00 AM - Shot gun start for the Dash - N - Splash Kids Race
**Awards ceremony to follow kids race.
