Brief Description

The Bonzai Sports Relay Team Swim Challenge is a competition featuring 4-person teams completing a 4 X 400 yard freestyle relay in the stat-of-the-art pool at the Hanley Center for Athletic Excellence at Georgetown Prep.

Team Info

Teams are comprised of four members which can be all male, all female or a mix. Each team member will swim 400 yards. The overall time of each team will be used to determine place and members of the top 3 teams will receive great prizes.

Race with Lisa Bentley

Lisa Bentley, 11x Ironman winner, will participate as a member of one team in the Bonzai Sports Relay Team Swim Challenge. One team of three may register to race with Lisa as the fourth member of their team. The registration fee to race with Lisa is $100 and that fee will be donated to St. Michael's Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic (in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) on Lisa's behalf.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to members of the top 3 fastest teams. Team times will be the combination of all four members added together.

Just for Registering

Blue Seventy, supporting sponsor of this event, will be giving a FREE pair of Vision swim goggles (a $20 retail value!) to each member of each competing team. PLUS, Blue Seventy will randomly giveaway a Blue Seventy Helix wet suit to one participant in the event. Assuming there are 10 teams, you have a 1 in 40 chance to win a wet suit!

Where and When

All team members should be on the pool deck of the pool in the Hanley Center for Athletic Excellence at Georgetown Prep by 8:45AM.

Additional Information

Teams get individual splits in addition to an overall team time. Plan to arrive on the pool deck ready to swim at 8:45 A.M.
