Description

Amateur athletes are invited to experience draft-legal racing in the TriMonroe Draft-Legal Sprint Distance. This is a rare opportunity. The field is limited to 75 men and 75 women so claim your spot today! Minimum age requirement is 20 years of age. A traditional non-drafting Sprint Distance is also offered. Limited to 300 for a quality Age Group race. Experience the same course as the Elite Triathletes with all the exitement and fun that triathlon has to offer.

The course is designed to feel like an ITU (International Triathlon Union) Olympics style event. Lake Tye is a clean, man made lake, the bike course is closed to traffic and consists on multiple loops on a wide, flat parkway. The run is on dedicated paved paths around Lake Tye. Spectators can see the entire race from the Lake Tye Park viewing areas.

Event schedule and times

7:00 am Amateur Male & Female Non-Drafting 375 meter swim, 20 K bike (4 laps), 5 K run (2 laps)

2:15 pm Amateur Male and Female Draft-legal 750 meter swim, 20 K bike (4 laps), 5 K run (2 laps)

Sanctioning
