Birchwood Lakes Tri/Duathlon
Great venue. Fresh water lake for the swim. The bike and run are a flat fast course through the neighbor hoods of bucolic Medford, NJ. Go to mapmyride.com, find a ride, Medford,NJ, and search for Birchwood Fourth tri switick for the bike course.
After the race hang out at the lake for thr parade and old fashion family BBQ. The entry fee includes addmission to the BBQ. You can try the egg toss or the pie eating contest. Food, beverages and beer.

The Course
Swim 1/2 mile or run 2 miles
Bike 13.5 miles
Run 5000 meters
The bike course will be marshaled. It is an open to traffic course, so all traffic laws and regs. need to be followed.
The Vibe
Low key, fun and low tech.
Great competition without the complication.
FYI- no splits, that's why you wear a watch w/ splits.

Parking
Parking will be off site at St Mary of the Lakes RC Church on Jackson Rd. Medford, NJ 08055. Follow the signs BLCC Du/Tri Parking. Its about 1/2 mile from the transition. Please do not park in the neighborhood. The Medford Police have asked us not to allow parking on the street.
