Triathlon Registration Category

You will have to choose a category to race. There are 5 options. 1 - Age Group - General sign up; 2 - Open Wave - Elite wave/top age group competitors (overall awards only); 3 - Athena/Clydesdale - Weight Class Categories women can race if they are150lbs+ and men can race if they are 200lbs+ (elgibily for Athena/Clydesdale awards only); 4 - Collegiate; 5 - Physically Challenged.

Swim Race Registration

12:30 – 2pm Open Water Swim Races *750 meter and 1500 meter swim courses with an estimated 100-150 swimmers over the two events. *An added way to give local residents as well as Sunday’s participants an additional event to participate in and generate excitement during the Expo. *Event will be supported with lifeguards and kayaks. 750m Swim Race Starts at 12:30pm, 1500m Swim Race Starts at 1pm

North Texas Tri Series

Stonebridge Ranch Triathlon is part of the North Texas Tri Series. The North Texas Tri Series is 4 great races in the North Texas Area that qualify you for discounts and excellent prizes when you race all 4!!! Go to http://www.playtri.com/series.php for all the details.

USAT Sanctioning

This is a sanctioned event. You will be required to present your driver's license AND your USAT membership card or purchase a one-day license ($10.00). You are the only person who can receive your packet. If you do not have a current USAT membership but would like to purchase one, please go to www.usatriathlon.org and apply for membership. If you forget your membership card you will have to pay the one-day fee of $10.00 - no exceptions.

Timing

This will be a Champion Chip timed event. Timing services provided by Run-Far.

Awards / Amenities

Top 3 Overall for male/female (Open wave), Overall Masters and Grandmasters male/female, 3 Deep - age group, relay & Athena / Clydesdale; All racers who register by Sept. 5th are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt and goodie bag when they pick up their packets

Collegiate Division Team Awards

Awards for the top 3 college teams will be given for the Sprint distance. The awards will be based on the top 2 male and top 2 females times added all together with the lowest time winning.

Stonebridge Ranch Health & Fitness Expo

On Saturday from 12pm - 4pm at the Stonebridge Ranch Beach and Tennis Club there will an Expo inviting health and fitness themed business from around the Stonebridge area as well as the DFW area. This will be a great opportunity to become more familiar with local vendors with your health and wellness in mind.

Benefiting

A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia Society of America.

Sanctioning
