Sprint Open Wave

The open wave is intended for elite amateur athletes. To register for the open wave in the Sprint Distance, you should have been a top ten overall finisher or top 3 age group finisher in in a race of 400 or more athletes.

USAT Sanctioning

This is a sanctioned event. You will be required to present your driver's license AND your USAT membership card or purchase a one-day license ($10.00). You are the only person who can receive your packet. If you do not have a current USAT membership but would like to purchase one, please go to www.usatriathlon.org and apply for membership. If you forget your membership card you will have to pay the one-day fee of $10.00 - no exceptions.

Timing

This will be a Chip timed event. Timing services provided by Run-Far.

Sprint Awards / Amenities

Top 3 Overall for male/female (Open wave only), Overall Masters and Grandmasters male/female, 3 Deep - age group, relay & Athena / Clydesdale (those who race the open wave are not elibible for age group awards. All racers who register before April 1st will receive a t-shirt and goody bag.

My First Tri Awards/Amenities

All finisher's of the my first tri will receive a finisher's medal. All racers who register by April 1st are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt and goody bag

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
