Brief Description

Do you find that your triathlon swims start off well; you’re solidly with the front or middle pack of swimmers, only to get passed in the last half of the race? We understand and can help you not only maintain your solid swim start, but even improve it.

Duration

6 weeks

Additional Information

Our 6-week Endurance Training program includes the moderate intensity aerobic work, within an extended period of activity that is essential to improved endurance. Long, extended intervals, and Negative Split workouts will be just some of the tools effectively utilized in this program in which our overriding objective is increased endurance. Maintaining efficient technique throughout the workouts will be emphasized, but this is NOT a technique class. As such, folks looking to participate in this program MUST be able to swim 500 yards continuously and posses a solid swim technique. This program will focus solely on the freestyle/crawl stroke.

At the completion of this program you will be able to maintain a high quality level of swimming for much longer than when you began.

Fee: $145 and $125 for JCC members
