Brief Description

Limited to 501 participants..........SWIM: Clean fresh warm lake water, BIKE: AG-flat road, fresh countryside air no traffic, green fields, TRAIL RUN and no crowding. Easy access from I-5 intersection at Hwy 152. Many hotels and restaurants within 8 miles in Santa Nella and Los Banos.

Race packets

Pick-up: ON 6/21 from 1 to 4 pm >>> OR <<< on race morning for $15 READY CASH LIMITED SERVICE from 7 to 8 am only.>>>Else use mail option during registration here.>>>Park fee $6 ready cash at the gate. >>>ALL participants MUST show photo ID and current USAT member card, if member, ELSE pay $10 USAT day-insurance READY-CASH BILL no change please.

 

Swim Course

Swim in fresh clean lake water, no salt or waves. Water temperature usually around 70F. Wetsuits, hoods and guggles strongly recommended. Bib number must be displayed on swim cap. One straight leg in length direction of lake up and back marked by Orange buoys starting from boats ramp. ............SPRINT only 0.45 mile straight from boats ramp in width direction of lake out and back.

 

Bike course

OLYMPIC ONE- LOOP Ag-flat Starts with a hill down glide through 6 inch flat water pit 30 feet long then climb up hill 1/8 mile to exit park at top to Canyon Rd, right on Pioneer Rd, stop at Ortigalita, continue on Pioneer, right on Center, right on Almond, right on Ortigalita Rd, Left on Sunset assisted by Officer, Left on Canyon assisted by officer and back to park entrance down hill, water pit and up hill to transition....>>> SPRINT bikers same start, but make U-turn on Canyon at Sunset Ave.

 

Run course

OLYMPIC: Starts at transition area hill up to trails along the lake for 2 loops marked with RED ARROWS on Easels at each intersection. Please run straight until the next arrow. Water and Gatorade stations are 1 mile apart. .......... >>>SPRINT only one loop and back to transition area at boats ramp.

 

Race numbers

Must be worn on swim cap during swim, on back of T-shirt during bike and run sections in addition to bike ID and front number ID during running.

No wind scheduled except your own :) -------------------------------------------------------------- All events will be held at the Los Banos Creek State park conveniently located at Hwy 152 and I-5 near the cities of Los Banos and Santa Nella. Several hotels, motels and 3 camping sites are available for your accommodations.
